We have attempted to answer many of the common questions that people may have.  If you do not find your question answered here please feel free to contact us.

When do I pick up and drop off my child?

 

For week long camps, Sunday registration time will be 3:30 p.m. Thursday closing celebration starts at 415 or just pick-up time will be 5:00 p.m.. For Kiddie camps, Arrival time is 3:30pm Depart time is 1pm

What will our child/children need for camp?

 

We have made a "packing list".  You can find it

Can my child stay in the same dorm as their friends?

While we cannot gaurantee that every camper every year will get to stay with who they want we do our best to make sure that all campers get to stay with their friends. You can help us out by filling out this information on the registration form. If there is concern about this feel free to contact us.

What is Canteen?

 

We have canteen three times a day. The kids are able to buy items such as drinks, candy, shirts, souvenirs, and more! The prices range from $0.25 to $20. $20 will get your child snacks and drinks throughout the week.

Can I chaperone?

 

Yes. Chaperone fee is $90.  All chaperones must register just like the campers do but when asked what grade, you will choose "CHAPERONE" Because of Ky Court Justice regulation Camp Joy is unable to request free background checks. All chaperons need to complete and send in Background Check Form RU-004 and UPLOAD THE RESULTS to your registration account.  If you have a background check that is less than 1 year old you may upload it instead of requesting a new one. For safetly reasons, there will be no exceptions.
